Gianpaolo Mantini
Founding Partner & Chartered Financial Planner

At work
Gianpaolo (‘Gp’ to most) has worked in financial services since 2001. He joined the sister accountancy firm in 2005; building the Financial Planning business from scratch, developing his knowledge and achieving exemplary client outcomes in the process.
With a logical and practical mindset, honed whilst undertaking a Civil Engineering & Architecture degree from Leeds University, Gp’s advice is a judicious mixture of objective analysis and creativity.
Gp became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2008; an accreditation only secured through extensive examination and commitment to professional development. He’s passionate about improving his knowledge and continuing to grow his long-standing family of clients.
He specialises in providing strategic, reality-focused advice to successful executives, professionals, business owners and people whose accumulated assets would benefit from long-term planning.

Outside work, Gp spends much of his spare time (“what spare time?”) with his wife Aoife and their two children, Ailbe and Illaria.
His various roles keep him busy, from Parish Councillor to mini rugby coach (as well as his children’s taxi driver). When he has the time, he loves to cook, taking inspiration from the Mediterranean and Asia.
In the spotlight
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“To me, it’s not really ‘just a job’. I’d definitely struggle to step back from client interaction. I’m very curious by nature; I’m interested in learning about people and their backstories, what drives them, what would they like to change. I like to be in a position to challenge assumptions, including my own, and this often helps with the problem-solving aspects inherent within the role.”
What’s important to you?
“Family – trite but true. Oh, and winning the shove-a-penny at the annual school football fundraiser!”
What are your three core values?
“Integrity, open-mindedness and accountability.”
