What We Offer

Working With Accountants & Solicitors

The professional disciplines have become so complex and are subject to such regular change that we are firmly committed to the principle of leaving law to lawyers, accountancy to accountants, investment to investment managers – and financial planning to financial planners.

Accordingly, we work closely with a number of professional practices in the interests of providing the best and most suitable service for our mutual clients.

What we do

We are dedicated to sound, long term relationships with our clients, and are committed to financial planning as the process of meeting lifetime goals through proper management of clients’ personal finances.

We charge fees for our services and, wherever possible, these are rebated against commission received.

Your perspective

We respect the level of care you take with referrals, which amongst other things is driven by your fundamental commitment to your clients.

We appreciate that you may not have the time or be able to become involved beyond your areas of expertise, or to take on yet more compliance.

Our response

We seek to provide the highest professional standards, a rigorous financial planning process, and high quality maintenance and support of client relationships.

We have direct experience of working with partners and fee earners, and of the working pressures within a legal practice.

We would look to work closely with you to develop a seamless resolution of your clients’ needs and objectives, and to keep you fully informed of progress. We have broad experience of trust matters and of working with trustees.

We can also contribute in these ways:

Financial planning involves a close long term relationship, whereas much legal work is transactional; we can therefore help client retention, and there is no risk that we will refer your clients elsewhere.

There may be opportunities for us to assist legal advisers and trustees with the onerous responsibilities imposed by the Trustee Act 2000.

Our comprehensive client reviews can uncover additional business opportunities for the practice.

The way forward

Our first steps would be to learn more about your practice, to meet the people involved, and to gain an understanding of typical client profiles. We in turn would want to offer guidance on client matters and opportunities where we can add value.

We should like to discuss with you a delivery that meets your needs and is both simple and effective for you and your clients. We could provide regular surgeries at your offices, and wherever possible attend meetings with individual clients.
